Inconel 601, a nickel-based alloy material. It has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature, good carbonization resistance, good oxidation resistance, sulfur-containing atmosphere, good mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperature, and good resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Due to the controlled carbon content and grain size, 601 has higher creep rupture strength. Therefore, it is recommended to use 601.601 alloy in the field above 500°C. An important property is that it has oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1180°C. Even under very severe conditions, such as heating and cooling cycles, 601 can generate a dense oxide film to obtain high resistance to peeling. 601 has good resistance to carbonization. Due to its high chromium and aluminum content, 601 has good oxidation resistance in high-temperature sulfur-containing atmospheres.
