Our DC04 and DC06 deep drawing cold rolled carbon steel coils deliver the exceptional formability and surface quality demanded by automotive stamping, appliance manufacturing, and precision metal forming industries. Produced through a carefully controlled sequence of pickling, cold reduction, electrolytic cleaning, and hydrogen atmosphere annealing, these coils achieve the optimal combination of low yield strength, high elongation, and uniform grain structure that enables complex deep drawing operations. The advanced cold rolling mill with automatic gauge control ensures thickness consistency within microns across the entire coil width and length. Whether you are stamping automotive door inner panels, refrigerator compressor housings, or intricate electronic enclosures, our deep drawing grade coils provide the reliable, repeatable performance that high-volume manufacturing operations depend on for first-pass quality and minimal downtime.

DC04 and DC06 deep drawing cold rolled carbon steel coils are the material of choice for applications requiring severe forming without intermediate annealing. Primary applications include automotive body panels (door inners, roof panels, quarter panels, floor pans), fuel tank halves, oil sumps and pans, brake booster shells, washing machine drums and cabinets, refrigerator liners and door panels, kitchen sink bowls, fire extinguisher bodies, compressed gas cylinder halves, lighting fixture housings, and deep-drawn electronic chassis components. The exceptional drawability permits single-stage forming of geometries that would require multi-stage processing with lesser grades, reducing tooling investment and per-part manufacturing cost. These grades are also widely specified for hydroforming applications where uniform elongation under biaxial stress is critical to part integrity.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEach coil is protected with anti-rust VCI paper and heavy-duty waterproof polyethylene wrapping, then secured with circumferential and radial steel strapping. Edge guard rings protect coil edges from mechanical damage during handling and transit. Coils are palletized on wooden skids or steel cradles for forklift handling. Container loading includes timber blocking, steel lashing straps, and dunnage to prevent shifting. Every shipment includes complete mill test certificates per EN 10204 3.1, surface quality inspection reports, dimensional conformance certificates, and fumigation certificates where required. Our quality system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 with additional compliance to IATF 16949 automotive quality management standards. Third-party inspection and testing by SGS, Bureau Veritas, or TUV Rheinland is available at customer request.
